Tidbits Trivia · Last updated July 23, 2026

Tidbits Trivia is built to respect you. You can play the entire game with no account and no personal data collected at all. A few optional features — signing in, competing on leaderboards, and Tidbits Club membership — involve a small amount of data, described below. We never sell your data, and we show no ads or third-party trackers.

Play without an account

You can play every part of the free game with no sign-in. Your scores, streak, and progress are saved only on your own device and are never uploaded. Deleting the app removes them.

If you sign in (optional)

Signing in is optional and only needed to sync across your devices, join leaderboards, or use a Tidbits Club membership you bought on another platform. If you sign in, we store the profile you choose to share — such as a display name and your game stats used for leaderboards — associated with your account. You can play without ever signing in.

Tidbits Club membership

If you buy Tidbits Club, we record that your account is entitled to Club so it unlocks the features you paid for. To do this without keeping your email in the clear, we store a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address (not the address itself) alongside the entitlement. Purchases are processed by the app store you bought through (Apple, Google, Microsoft) or, for web purchases, our third-party payment processor — we never receive or store your full payment-card details.

Network use

The full question bank ships inside the app and works offline. Tidbits uses the network to create topic quizzes from Wikipedia's public API, to sync your account if you sign in, to show leaderboards and live events you join, and to verify Club membership. Wikipedia requests contain no personal information.

Children

Tidbits is suitable for all ages. The free game collects no data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and account features are intended for those able to agree to our terms.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date.
